Fallen Leaf Lake is one of many hidden gems in Northern California. If you’re looking to escape the crowds, then you must plan a visit. Located just a mile southwest of Lake Tahoe, Fallen Leaf Lake is a gorgeous oasis just waiting to be explored. However, most visitors don’t know that there is another beautiful lake nearby - and it’s hidden right in plain sight. Without a Fallen Leaf Lake cable seal, your boat will not be allowed to enter Fallen Leaf Lake.Known for its crystal-clear water and picturesque mountain views, it’s no surprise that Lake Tahoe attracts so many tourists year after year. If your motorized boat is not sealed with a Fallen Leaf Lake seal you will need to have your boat decontaminated at an approved TRPA decontamination station in Meyers, Homewood, or any other approved locations which maintain cable seals for the Fallen Leaf Lake launch facility. For your motorized boat to be launched at the Fallen Leaf Lake marina you must have a Fallen Leaf Lake cable seal and a required TRPA sticker on your boat.Mooring Ratesīoats moored at Fallen Leaf Marina may not exceed 22 ft., 3100 lbs., and 100-inch beam. In accordance with the operating Policies and Procedures for the Community Area at Fallen Leaf, tanks may not be filled from private cans within the marina. Fallen Leaf Lake Marina and Store / CaféĪll boaters are strongly urged to purchase their fuel at the Fallen Leaf Marina. Please keep in mind that boats moored at the Fallen Leaf Marina may not exceed 22 ft., 3100 lbs. The mooring fee this summer for non residents is $2150.00. The seasonal mooring fee for this summer for Fallen Leaf Residents is $1750.00. There may be the occasional snowstorm or inclement weather that is endemic to the Sierra, but we will be ready.
